HIBS Old Boys Membership Terms and Conditions
ACCESS
1.1 These terms and conditions (Terms) set out the rules governing membership of HIBS Old Boys.
MEMBER SIGNUP / REGISTRATION
2.1 By registering you are becoming a member of HIBs Old Boys implying full acceptance of these Terms, including any changes that may be made to the Terms from time to time.
2.2 To become a HIBS Old Boys member, the person must register and provide the information requested accurately. Personal information provided at the time of registration is presumed to be true and correct. It is your responsibility to update personal information as and when necessary.
2.3 Persons may only register once. Registration is for a single person only.
2.4 HIBS Old Boys members consent to receiving communication from HIBS Old Boys, but have the option to opt out of them.
MEMBERSHIP
3.1 You agree to join HIBS Old Boys for life.
3.2 Your HIBS Old Boys membership will continue indefinitely until cancelled.
3.3 Membership is open to any person who attend HIBS as a student, teacher, or was a parent of a student.
FEES
4.1 You agree to pay a membership fee, as set out on the HIBS Old Boys website and on the Application Form.
OUR LIABILITY TO YOU
8.1 You have rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986. Other than those rights and the rights given to you under this contract: we will not be liable to you for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage or injury of any kind to you or your property, however it arises. Compensation for personal injury by accident in New Zealand is covered by The Accident Compensation Act 2001;
8.2 We will not be obliged to give you any refund of fees paid for your membership if you fail to use your membership or terminate early, before the end of your subscription period.
CANCELLATION PROCESS
9.1 If you want to cancel your HIBS Old Boys membership, please contact us.
9.2 At any time, we can terminate your membership immediately by giving you notice in writing or by email if we reasonably believe you have brought the school or foundation into disrepute.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
10.1 HIBS Old Boys may change or delete any of these Terms at any time.
10.2 HIBS Old Boys members are responsible for checking the Terms regularly to review any such changes.
10.3 Continued participation in HIBS Old Boys following the publication of any changes to the Terms confirms participants acceptance of those changes.
